Limbus is a loop created for a video installation, for my solo, Beyond The Abyss.

It touches upon Purgatory, not in the Judeo-Christian western sense but rather as a sort of a Limbo space where ego death occurs. A pre-womb Bardo of its own.
Through the disintegration of the personal one unites with the transpersonal. Such a phenomenon would be deemed as a Divine Trauma.

This short loop reveals parts of the psyche that are normally hidden from us and everyday life.

The Horned Wolf

"The Horned Wolf"
Short Story by Kaliptus

Amidst the darker forests of Sweden, a horned wolf, never before seen by human eyes, existed amongst the creatures of the night. Its birth and origins are as mysterious as the origins of the soul itself but its age had to be no younger than 400 years old. Though the horned wolf had not needed to eat as much flesh to survive as he daily did in his younger age, he now sustained his endurance with bi-monthly meals. It was due, his time to eat and in the middle of the dark forest night, he stumbled upon a beautiful, naked girl stepping into a pond. Her flesh was a very pale white and she was thin but curved delicately. Her long hair was a reddish bright brown and waved down to the center of her pelvis. Skies black, and full moon reflecting upon the pond’s waters, the horned wolf lurked and gazed upon this beauty of flesh and bone. A drip of drool slips from the wolf’s mouth and lands below on the moist grasses occupied by crickets, beetles, spiders and oversized water bugs. In this windless night, the girl slowly walks into the waters, step by step, descending into the depths until she is neck high. Only wild crickets and the gentleness of the parting waters could be heard, as the girl begins to swim. She dives underneath to wet her hair and behind her, the horned wolf sneaks into the waters swiftly but quite silently. Much like an alligator, the horned wolf spirals around her but keeps his distance a few yards behind her at all times. He stalks her beauty and every move of grace, waiting for the perfect moment to devour her. She swims up for air, from underneath the waters and relaxes.

The wolf’s heart begins to pound harder and faster as he becomes more and more aware of the rhythms of her hear beating. As he focuses only on his gaze upon her and the sound of her beating hear, his heart begins to match her beat and he goes into trance. His vision turns into a reddish orange haze and he indulges in trance like never before. This prey was different than all the others. As he tuned in, deeper into the trance, the girl gasped, becoming aware of the trance itself as if it were an invisible channel that one could tune into telepathically. The souls of the two began to intertwine themselves in a sort of hypnagogic spell of magical lust. Orbs began to manifest around and above the pond, a site that not one or the other had ever witnessed before. As the waters began to dimly glow and the two became ever more connected through the trance, the girl began to moan softly and quiver. The wolf’s beating heart felt as if it had risen to his head and continued to sync to the girl’s. Her eyes, now rolling behind her skull and expressing the most vibrant and hypnotic signs of possession, began to glow reddish orange like the color of the wolf’s vision. Though she uncontrollably surrendered to this orgasmic force, she remained very conscious of her magnifying senses. Every molecule of her nakedness throbbed with immense energy and pleasure.

The wolf’s breathing disrupted his own silence as he began to lose control of himself. He lunged himself at the girls neck and throat and began to nibble on her enough for slender bleeding but not enough for a kill. His phallus erects itself and he penetrates her sacred temple, breaking away her virginity forever. Droplets of blood now dissipate underwater from her genitalia as the two embrace each other in this carnal and nocturnal love. Diffracted shockwaves of orange energy pulse and radiate out of the two, rippling through the waters and out, onto the grasslands. The orbs begin to glow brighter with each pulsation and each repeating penetrative thrust that the wolf delivers in his love making catharsis. The girl, now screaming like a maenad and feasting upon her horned lycanthrope lover, wraps her arms and legs around the beast. The spirits of the forest manifest around them and begin to dance and rejoice. Archetypal forms rise and dissolve in the ether threads of semi-transparent energies that emit from the two lovers. Illumination chases away the darkness out of the forest pond as the phantoms of love multiply in quantity and quality. The wolf and the girl begin to climax. His black claws tightly grasp her all over, scarring her slightly on her breasts, thighs and back. As he penetrates her deeper and faster, he makes his way to lift her from behind, with one paw stimulating her down below and another grasping her voluptuous breasts. The two begin to float out of the water and rise up towards the skies.

A vortex of thundering clouds from above begins to spiral down around them and engulfs the two as they rise towards the skies. Their lovemaking becomes deeper than ever now and the horned wolf’s penetrations become so fast that no human or mammal’s anatomy could ever be competent enough to match its smooth and rhythmic speed. The screaming girl ejaculates during the peak of the climax, and her own vaginal waters come splashing out into the pond below, like the bursting of a water balloon that has been filled to the max. The horned wolf’s phallus bursts a bright orange light that fills her entire body and all of her cells explode with ecstasy like never before. Her vision goes white. Everything goes silent in the eternity of the moment. The wolf enters her heart, realizing for the first time the he had been a spirit all along, rather than a physical deity. As the white flash fades out, the body of the girl drops from the sky and she falls into the waters of the pond beneath her, in a state of utopian rapture. As she resurfaces from underneath the water and surrenders to the floating of her naked flesh, she begins to become aware of the wolf’s forces dwelling in her heart. He is forever inside her now and his forces are now hers to employ. She lies there, floating in the waters of the pond and staring at the moon, remembering now her personal identity that she had previously given up in trade for her transformative bliss and union with the horned wolf. She remembered that she had been a witch at play all along and had actually invoked the horned wolf after all. Though his lustful appearance and powers surprised her and caught her off guard she knew that this wondrous beast would be the best lover she would of ever have known. In fact, the witch of the past and the horned wolf had symbolically died in their union and a new being was reborn, dressed in the flesh and bones of the witch. And though the newborn empress of magical forces had access to both the astral memories of the wolf and the earthly memories of the witch, she made her way out of the waters as a new and powerful being. The union of the two souls had made a third soul, which was now her new identity. She had grown more powerful in her preceding moments than a combination of powers that the previous two could have ever imagined. As she walked out of the waters and on through the forest, she radiated with divinity and was made more graceful and cunning than a sylph or the devil himself. She was ready to take on the world with not only new eyes but also an entirely new archetypal essence. Her new soul made its mark so deeply into the collective that it subtly and eternally changed the whole of timelessness itself. She had become the horned wolf incarnate and experienced the kind of Love that even the gods find rare and cherish most.

It was an autumnal, chilly evening. The setting sun cast skewed shadows amongst the highest rocky mountains of Spiti Valley where a Bodhisattva sat, legs crossed in meditation, enjoying the breeze. A few yards away, a bearded savage approached the mountain top, dirty with blood stains and mud all over his old smelly clothes, drinking the last of his booze as he got closer and closer to the calm and serene Bodhisattva. Giggling with a sinister and provocative intent, the middle-aged bearded fool sat in front of the Bodhisattva to test his wisdom.

SAVAGE: Are you alive?… eh heh heh.. Anybody home.. Ugh!! The hell you doing here in the cold? Got some change to spare?

BODHISATTVA: ….

SAVAGE: What's the matter? Don't say much do ya?

BODHISATTVA: ….

SAVAGE: Ya know… its kind of dangerous for an unarmed man to be hangin' out around here with no company or anything. A lot of wild beasts roam around, predators of all kinds starving for flesh and all.

BODHISATTVA: I fear not beasts or flesh-dominated creatures. If I am to die, I will die here today. I fear not death. I embrace it.

SAVAGE: He speaks! hahaha. For a minute I thought you were a mute or something. Hey, you said you embrace death and all right. Well, want to hear a story, ya crazy old kook? I killed a man today. That's right, no regrets neither. The bastard was a pathetic fool anyways, full of riches but as dumb as a pig. I take what I can get. The world is a jungle. Its either eat or get eaten. But know worries for you old kook, I've got no reason to harm' ya… at least for now, hahahahaha!

BODHISATTVA: You are very in-tuned with your animal nature, a rare feat for the average man in today's world. Many have forgotten that although we are all One Cosmic point of unified and divine consciousness in our truest aspect, we are temporarily bound by flesh,an animal body, which has its carnal and wicked urges rooted in a history of thousands of years of genetic bio-survival imprints. I've learned all about this and have tamed the beast within with Yoga. I can teach you if you are interested.

SAVAGE: Yoga? Sounds like its for pussies.. What you think your better than me or somethin?

BODHISATTVA: Not better, not worse. We are One. But in this incarnation, I have chosen Spirit over Flesh with the aid of disciplinary exercises. You have obviously chosen Flesh over Spirit, not worse, not better. Each has his own style. Each and every path eventually leads every soul to enlightenment… If you go deep enough.

SAVAGE: I do love flesh! You can say that again… You got any food on ya?

BODHISATTVA: I do not.

SAVAGE: What's you got in that bag of yours, heh, Heh?

The Savage unleashes a dagger from his boot and started fiddling with it, waving it in front of the bodhisattva's face as if to taunt him. Angered by the unresponsive reaction he attempts to mug the bodhisattva, but in a blink of an eye, the bodhisattva was gone, leaving behind his garments and dress clothes.

SAVAGE: What the!? You damn fool, where did you go?

BODHISATTVA: I'm right behind you. Was your awareness too limited and slow to perceive my movement just now

SAVAGE: What! I don't know how you just pulled that one, but you vanished out of thin air!!! How did you do that?

BODHISATTVA: I didn't do that. But you surely perceived it. When one works from the Spirit, one can achieve many wonderful feats, all of which are mere illusion but none of which are of any value at all when referenced to the Unifying Light of the Absolute.

SAVAGE: You are one arrogant, self-righteous, sneaky prick aren't ya, old man. I'll blame this one on the rye whiskey! let's see if you can dodge my next blow!!

The Savage tossed the dagger at the naked Bodhisattva's face, skillfully, like he had thrown daggers all of his life. The bodhisattva didn't flinch. Immediately out of nowhere, a strong gust of wind blows the dagger slightly off direction and the blade barely misses the bodhisattva's face by about a quarter of an inch.

SAVAGE: You lucky FUCK!!! I never miss. Is this another one of your tricks? How the fuck did you pull that one. I can kill three birds with one knife!!! Arghhh!!!

The savage lunged himself at the bodhisattva's throat and out of nowhere, a snow leoard, appears from his left and attacks the savage with great force. The savage falls on his back and the snow leopard ravages the savage's arm as he holds it up over his face in, screaming in pain. The bodhisattva sighs and approaches the wild beast. He whistles to it and the beast stops the attack and retreats back into the wilderness. The savage, breathing heavily now in despair, with his arm all torn and bloody, lies on the ground in shock, grunting and moaning.

SAVAGE: What the fuck, man! urghh, huh… I guess you saved my life.. I would of sliced that fucker anyways but… You've got some luck surrounding you or something. I might hang around with you more. Maybe it'll rub off on me or something. Hahaha… Urgh.. Then again I don't believe in luck. Its gotta be a coincidence, cause' I sure as hell don't believe in cheesy magic tricks neither. *hiccup*

BODHISATTVA: Its not luck or magic. I simply trust the universe. I have trained my mind to be immovable like a mountain and at times, the nature of my surroundings support that inner discipline that I have attained.

SAVAGE: Bullshit we are all fucking ANIMALS not super heroes with special powers! Just like the fucker that just bit me. There's no changing that, just indulging in it. People, animals, the world, nothing changes!! Its the nature of the beast. You ever rip the guts out of a living human?!! You ever slice a woman's nipple off because she was being such a cunt! They are all made of flesh and they all die squealing. I kill, rape, steal and cheat my way through life because that's how the animal kingdom rolls! Its the only thing that keeps me alive. Its fucking natural in this violent world we live in. I see these little clueless, sheep-like individuals running around, they don't even know what its like to be human. I may not sit on a fucking mountain top like some wise old tricky kook, but I sure as hell know the deal. This cosmic mumbo-jumbo shit is just an invention of the minds of idiots like you. If I believed in such a thing as God then I'd be it because I invented it to begin with. Its only rational to tune into my nature and pride myself above all others, like a wolf in the woods, ready to snatch some prey!

BODHISATTVA: I'm not denying anything you've said. You are right and wrong in some sense. But here's one thing that I would like to mentioned. It seems as though beneath that animal body of yours and mine, beneath the beast, beneath all living things, there is a divine force that is your truest self. When I focus on a single point of awareness, I block all of my animal senses, I stop the scattered thoughts of my wild brain and in doing so, I sense deprivate and become aware of what's beyond. I become aware of the radiant light of the Godself which we are all apart of and connected to. It is us, inseparable! It is the source of all life and death. It is a Rawness that from which everything else is a modification of. Some never experience it directly. Some only read about it. But if you push yourself beyond your fleshy indulgences and limitations, you will come face to face with this Light, with your true self. Have you ever tried to tame the beast within?

SAVAGE: Uh huh… I tamed your mom! Slapped her in the pussy and fucked her in the ass. Hahahahaha… Ow… my fuckin arm

BODHISATTVA: ……

SAVAGE: You ever do that? Huh!! Ever fuck a bitch! Or are you too much an old crazy fuck to eat pussy… You know I bet you're probably still a virgin, and by now you're probably impotent too. I do owe you one for scaring off that beast. I could take you to the nearest Bordello and have your elderly ass de-virginized. Lots of delicious Hoes.. all taste like chicken though!! Muahahahahhahaha..Ow….huh… This one bitch I knew once, had no legs, lost them in an accident or some shit. BODHISATTVA: ……

The Bodhisattva walked back to his spot, where he was previously seated, redressed himself and tossed a canteen of water then returned to his deep mediation. The savage greedily chugged most of it down and poured the rest on his wound, while wrapping bits of torn cloth from his dirty clothes around his arm.

SAVAGE: You know, how to make a fire with no matches? Let me teach you something old man. See these two sticks here… Ima rub em' real hard like I did to that one bitch's clit. Hehehehe...

BODHISATTVA: I feel your emptiness, brother. You take all the gratification you can get from the material world because you are trying to feed an emptiness that can never be fulfilled unless you fill it with the light of your "Higher Self" I have achieved supreme enlightenment and in doing so could withstand some of the most horrible scenarios in the world and feel nothing but bliss. I could scorch my flesh with flames and feel all of your best orgasms combined times a thousand-fold and more. I don't need material comforts because I can activate any pleasure or treasure from within. I have direct access to my neural behavior and could even experience a tantric orgasm at will if I wanted to, but none of it at all compares to the Light of the Absolute. But then again do not believe me. Experience it for yourself.

SAVAGE: You sound like a self-righteous prick but I think I'm startin' to like ya. What's this nonsense about this Light shit anyways. How do I experience this shit. Do I take a fuckin' mushroom or what?

BODHISATTVA: Here let me show you the art of Yoga.

With a small fire, half started amidst a nightly sky in the wilderness of Spiti Valley, The Savage and the Bodhisattva stood on one leg, palms together in front of their chests, breathing rhythmically and practicing the art of Yoga in attempt to experience enlightenment like never before.

Exquisite Chain reaction is an animation inspired off of the old surrealist drawing game, Exquisite Corpse.

The rules were...

SOMEONE CREATED 5 SECS OF ANIMATION, STOP-MOTION OR VIDEO & PASSED IT TO SOMEONE ELSE. THEN, THE PERSON THAT RECEIVED THE VIDEO HAD TO CONTINUE FROM THE LAST SCENE OF THE PREVIOUS PERSON AND MAKE ANOTHER 5 SECS. AFTER THAT PERSON FINISHED 5 SECS, THEY ALSO PASSED IT TO SOMEONE ELSE AND THE WHOLE PROCESS REPEATED ITSELF 23 TIMES. THE END RESULT BECAME ONE LARGE SURPRISE DO TO THE FACT THAT ALL PARTICIPANTS DURING THE PROCESS ONLY KNEW WHAT THEIR PIECE AND THE PIECE BEFORE THEIRS LOOKED LIKE.

The Dream Side Pool Party

“Envision this as if Salvador Dali were to throw a pool party in France”, describes Sally Golan. “I want people to swim through a fusion of magic and enchantment and really lose themselves in out little world”. With an electric violin performance, Elixirs of lust sponsored by Voli Light Vodka 200 blue rubber duckies floating in a pool sponsored by United Print Group, a huge surreal purple tree drooping with flowers sponsored by Celadon and Celery Events and House music beats spun by sexy female DJ DJ Heather M, Social Exposure is sure to achieve that.

The four hand picked artists chosen to feature work especially for the event are: Katerina Gubina, Ryan V Brennan, Nick Hayes and Kaliptus Arts. They have been given the task of creating a “fantasy and dream like world’’ by transforming the indoor pool of the Grace Hotel into Salvador’s Dali’s man cave. “I am giving them complete freedom. It was fairly early in the morning. The sun had not risen yet but the music had been on for days. The warm, breezy forest was well lit by green lasers and mystifying 3D projections, which were holographically displayed on the foggy skies. Everything about this summer morning seemed blissful, at least so far. The early birds chirped and moisture could be felt in the air and everywhere. As I approached the massive landscape in my driving friend’s sun roofed, hovering jeep, I could hear the bass-line kicking from a far like the muffled sounds of bass one hears when inevitably, one waits in line for a huge electronic music dance festival. As he drove us thru the acres of woodland, closer and closer, past the large trees of Upstate Old York and into the center of the vortex where hundreds of trance dancers stood, I took a moment to enjoy the precious and mysterious vibe. This sacred festival was to last many days and nights to come. It was a celebration and Despacho of its own. It was to be an evocation of the energies needed to change the blue print of our future. It happened once every year and though there were differences amongst the preference and opinions of what future the people should manifest as a whole, we would all get together and make something happen regardless of the differences. After all, we were nearing a very interesting era, which called for diverse and desperate measures.
We had waited all year and had come from many miles away. Our arrival was not so late. It was the perfect timing. After driving for a short while longer, my friend pulled in closer and turned into the outskirts of the dance area to park the Hover Jeep. I made sure to grab my backpack, which contained some water, Yerba Mate, some protein bars and a few oranges. My friend grabbed his backpack too. We hopped out of the vehicle and approached the scene.
"Ready for transcendence!" my friend Clyde shouted at me as we moved in. I went to answer but he had rushed through the dancers and vanished in the raving crowds like a raindrop in the ocean.
The music was extremely hypnotic. This was no ordinary Mind Jockey. The sounds that were outputted from her mind and into the mind-translating sound wave devices were of no regular Mind Jockey. MJ-Indigo was her name. You could see her alias and logo projected from time to time in the skies. Her mental symphonies sounded like that which Mozart would have dreamed of at night but could never compose in his waking days. Her genius audio composition was the perfect vehicle for transcending the consciousness of all those in the trance dance experience. As she hovered around in her levitating sound booth, about 50 feet above, meditating with her gear connected to her brain, you could see the effect of her sounds on everyone’s body language. The music was recreating an advanced form of the trance that had been induced for millennia in human history, originally through the ancient drumming of the earliest tribes. The hypnosis of the synthetic mind drums was so powerful that it cast a chain-reaction affect on the unified consciousness of the crowd. The dance shamans, trancers, psychonauts and neo-mages were already at work. So many new faces, yet they seemed so familiar as if we had done this before together in a previous life or parallel universe of some sort.
As I entered right into the core of the dance magic, I witnessed the most profound interplay of forces emitting from certain individuals. We were all prone to experiencing the psychic phenomenon. Some types were conscious of it but others, while still affected, were not. Some could feel the forces, while others could see them as incandescent energies or even symbolical expressions of what was being cast into the shared psychic field in our dance area vortex. Some tuned into it in completely unique ways but I was a total vision guy. The direction of the energy manifested for the blue print of the future would reveal it self to me as a system of symbolical phantoms in my mind’s eye. It was as if a screen existed in my perception, between my eyes and the physical world, in which different symbols and visions would manifest. In some cases I would also see expressions of what some called the Divine Spirit, or that which lies in a, normally unseen dimension of perception that is parallel with our world. And the visions seemed be in sync with everything else that was going on, as if they were emitted from some shared non-local channel that was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I had met some in the past who were also Visionary Perceivers of the directed energies. But in the past and possibly even now, most of the few who were actually aware of this Great Work were capable of tuning into the phenomenon by sensing and feeling.
Across from me, a tall and skinny Haitian middle-aged man jumped into an opening circle that the dancers made and began to express some intense body motions. His movements seemed to be geared towards the attempt to neutralize the entropy of the vibes. His dance and energy appeared to me to resemble a higher balance and dynamic neutrality. He was very aware of the energy field as a whole and seemed to be aiming at the attainment of unified harmony. As he waved his arms in the air and stomped his feet on the ground to the awesome sounds of MJ-Indigo, I began to become aware of a very intricate symbol. My intuition defined it as a symbol of higher balance. His energies were an expression of respect for both the forces of creation and the forces of destruction. In the previous years, most neutral trance dancer energy-directors had dominated the "behind the scenes", non-local blueprint that is intertwined and interconnected throughout our reality.
But I was already seeing that this year things were a bit different.
The Haitian continued to strive for this neutrality through his dancing but a group of three, nasty little dance wizards took it upon themselves to tip over his balance by casting a subtle and indirect conflict on him. As all three of them grinned with the intention of recruiting the man onto their side of intentions, the taller one of the three offers the Haitian a drink. His gesture reflects double meaning, which could be taken as a friendly offering or a subtle message to chill out, dance less and drink some water. The Haitian tries to maintain the energy’s neutrality so he takes the bottle from the tall, grinning man and drinks from it. As he takes a few moderate sips, the other two who had also come with the tall guy began to dance behind the Haitian with expressions of evil and parasitic nature. The atmospheric symbols began to descend and a darker archival of glyphs became discernible. The Haitian immediately pass the bottle back, still confident that his intentional energies would soon re-dominate the collective field but one of the two who danced behind him came to drink next. She was a very pale, red haired girl with a very sexy appearance but somehow succubus like and full of temptation. As she took the bottle to her mouth and lifted her head to the skies for a large gulp, her seductive hair waved in the wind and the Haitian was charmed. The symbols flickered from harmony to deception and back. There was a struggle between the forces. The pale girl finished drinking, passed the bottle back to the tall guy and began to dance with the Haitian. His energy totally dropped down to her level, as he became tempted and seduced by her spellbinding dance. I could see signs of possession and darkness strobing through the Haitian’s eyes as he gazed upon her dark beauty. The balance tipped over and he was subconsciously recruited onto the side of a more corrupt frequency.
Symbols of dark lords and horned succubi began to manifest all around us. The moon became covered by clouds. A few of those who were on the side of the dark energy could now be heard howling with wild laughter from a near distance. The Haitian was now a leaf in their wind and the skies had turned completely dark and cloudy. Two others who also seemed to have the appearance of being neutral during my arrival earlier had now changed their attitude and made grimacing faces. Their frowns accidentally empowered the succubi energy and they too fell to the dark side. I now witnessed bleeding orbs and reversed pentagrams with eyes of darkness in their centers. This was no time for neutral grounds. These desperate measures called for extremities in the vibe. A different light skinned girl, wearing a t-shirt with a Ying Yang graphic on her chest, drew near the dance area with a glowing Hoola hoop and began to spin it to the beat. Her dance moves and Hoola spins began to secrete symbiotic ecstasy and colorful energies of healthy symmetry began to blast out from her motioned spins. Over the course of a few seconds, the collective energy frequencies had ascended from the darkness, past neutrality and into a higher style of celebration. Her neutrality had left as she made her mark on the side of the light. The clouds finished passing and the full moon was once again revealed and exposed. Glimpses of a new dawn also became apparent as more clouds began to part and the dark wizards became disempowered. They left the immediate dance area, took the Haitian with them and went on to either explore the rest of the revelry or hide from the high dose of positivity.
I was totally in my element now. After all, I had craved much for a sort of Utopian life style ever since my near death experience that I had undergone, once, during a faulty teleportation travel crash, back in my college days. I remember leaving my human senses entirely during the accident and emerging into a world of paradise as if I had been granted access to the back door of Eden. Whether or not that world existed outside of my psyche or not I could not rationalize, but the experience itself had made me anew. The doctors and psychotherapists had explained my descriptions of this utopian heaven as bio-chemical hallucinations or symptoms of a dying brain. But the very core and essence of what I had felt and witnessed touched me so deep, that I knew for myself that there was more to it than they even cared to know about.
I became energized, instantaneously, with a flashback memory of some distant but extremely vivid and vibrant rapture of the eternal past. My body propelled forward and began to dance and the energy quality began to improve even more. As I slowly began to draw nearer and nearer to the center of the open dancing circle, a dragon fly closely passes in front of me from my right to left, turns back around behind me and then loops back around the front of my chest and returns with its flight to its designated destination. It felt like nature had used the dragonfly to cast a circle of protection and empowerment, around me. The moment's phenomenon sent chills of bliss tingling up my spine to my neck and inspired me to dance with more energy. As I danced more and more, I could see those who seemed to be on the side of good intentions become more energized as well. And, as a result of it all, I become aware of a new vision. Our dancing coalition started to shoot incandescent beams into the skies and as the beams spiraled upwards, the overall visionary shape and form manifested as an eidetic and semi-transparent materialization of a technologically advanced mosque or temple. This large hallucinatory structure, that now towered above us seemed to be behaving like a serene, energy generator. Microcosmic shooting stars began to emit from the highest tip of the structure and then arch back down towards the dancers. A fountain of energies poured from the structure and the beams landed all around us. A huge portion of the crowd began to cheer, but a few who seemed gloomier than others, gestured disapproval in their dance moves. Rainbow lights and symbolical representations of celestial triumph and rejuvenation dominated the vision-based, shared channel of frequencies. This prolonged act of healing marked its presence into the universal blueprint of our unborn futures a bit deeper than the few previous evocations.
We all danced in great spirits for about twenty more minutes until MJ Indigo's excellent mind sounds came to an end. Her turn was now over and a different MJ approached. As MJ Indigo began to unhook the gear from her brain and controlled the levitating sound booth to land on its designated landing base, many people clapped and cheered. She had really created a beautiful and impressive sound of the rare kind. The next MJ walked up to her, shook hands with MJ Indigo and got inside the sound booth with a slightly dark grin on his face. There was a sort of dark feeling or aura that accompanied his style. Indigo walked out from the booth and a handful of people started to make their way to compliment her. The sound booth began to float and rise above. The alias “Vamp” began to flash on the sky projections for the new MJ. He was tall, skinny and very pale, wearing a shiny black trench coat and expensive black shades. His hair was very long and straight, reaching down to the back of his pelvis. He begin to hook up the gear to his brain and in a short amount of time, his mind music began.
A darker sound began to emerge. At first it didn’t change the vibe much, but in matter of minutes the dance circles took on a sinister sensation. A few of Vamp’s hardcore fans made their way to the main dance area and began to enjoy themselves. There were three guys and two girls all dressed in black, wearing a neo-industrial style of clothing. One of the girls, the more attractive one, wearing a spiked collar, black lipstick, a tight black t-shirt with tight leather pants and thigh high dominatrix boots, unfolded a flag with Vamp’s production logo on it and began to wave it the air as she bounced up and down. It was a graphic of a black skull with fangs on a red velvet background. Her tallest and oldest buddy, a red skinned Russian, built with muscle and a shiny, shaved head, whipped out a metallic flask from the pocket of his military pants and began to chug from it. He then poured the blood red wine from the flask all over his baldhead and began to dance aggressively. His skinny buddy, pale as a ghost but nerdy looking, wearing a sort of neo-gothic vest, nails painted black and shaved eyebrows, prepared his very advanced Palm sized HD camera and began to record the event.
A mob of shrieking bats flew across the field as the sound booth levitated higher into the sky. Vamp’s sounds had a very primordial style to them. The mental sound waves that could best be described as psydustrial yet gloomy, echoed through the forests like trickling dynamic particles bouncing off from one tree to another. The acoustics were high quality but very dark. They almost evoked a sort of devil force or nocturnal energy amongst the vibes. The other two fans of Vamp, who seemed to be dating, moved hastily into the middle of the dance ground. The dark skinned girl seemed to be in her mid twenties. Her hair was purple and she wore a black tank top and a red and grey plaid skirt. Grabbing the hand of a bearded, average height, hooded, middle-aged man she pulled him closer to her and began to dance with him dead in the middle of the central area.
I continued to dance, observing everything as it was but also taking notice that risky ambience was amidst the air. I did not fear it but neither did I trust it. A few of the dancers who were very cheery just a few minutes ago begin to leave the area. One of them, a girl with feathers of a hawk interlocked into her dreaded, light brown hair, grabbed her South American poncho and headed away for a break. Her car keys fell from the poncho without her taking notice. I went to go grab them but a strange and dark figure scooped it quickly from the ground and the keys were gone in an instance. I tried to look around but the figure was mysteriously gone, nowhere to be found. I went to chase after the girl to alert her of her missing and possibly stolen car keys and accidentally bumped hard into the baldheaded Russian.
“Watch where you’re going!” The Bald man said in a sort of growling manner. I wiped the nasty blood red wine from shoulder and excused myself.
“Sorry about that.” I told him in a slightly nervous manner as I continued forth to reach out to the girl, but by the time I looked again in her direction she was gone too. Damn it, I thought to myself. It’s really going to suck for her when she discovers her keys are missing, especially when she tries to go home. I could see that some of Vamps fans were laughing at the little incident and rushed on forth to search for the girl a bit more. Flashing visions of iniquity amplified before me in my central field of seeing. Feelings of tension and uneasiness began to rise as I came to the conclusion that it was going to be hard to find the girl and returned to the dancing.
A slight anger began to take place inside me. I tried to brush it off and began to dance with more energy. An older, hooded lady with a strange sort of Turkish apparel gave me a strange look of wickedness from a distance as if to empower herself and the dark side even more, but I stared intensely right back at her, took a deep breath and began to visualize rainbow energies spiraling around the atmosphere. As I continued forth, two Indian guys came dancing forth with a powerful sense of illumination and prosperity. One of them wore a green t-shirt with some Mayan designs on it and khaki shorts and the other also wore earthly colored, simple clothes with no shoes. As the two came, stomping hard on the dirt, the sounds began to sort of flicker as if the MJ had temporarily lost his focus over the performance. The Bald Russian began to show a grimace on his face and began yell in Russian at his nerdy friend who seemed to pay no attention, as if jaded to his buddy’s short temperament and aggression. He then placed his flask down, picked up the girl with the flag and placed her over his shoulders as he made his way to the center of action. The big dude and the chick with the flag complimented Vamp with beastly gestures of sinister gratitude and praise. As the bald man jumped up and down, I couldn’t help but notice how wonderfully plump the girl’s breasts were as they bounced up and down, beneath her tight black t-shirt. One could tell she was not wearing her bra. My daze spontaneously broke when my friend who had drove me here appeared out of the left field.
“Here, try some of this. I got some, really high grade, sun dried Yerba Mate mixed with Kratom leaves from a friend I haven’t seen in a while. It’s warm too. He boiled some water on that fire by his tent, over the hills.” He pointed in the direction of his buddy’s tent as he past me a gourd and bombilla.
“Thanks, man.” I replied as I sipped on the warm tea a few times, passed it back and continued to dance. The two of us clomped our feet to the beat and watched the interplay of forces and dancers alike. It was like the universe was dancing through us, in the same way that the stars dance and orbit through out the galaxies of the cosmos. Just the very thought of it alone began to trigger visions in me of a spiraling galaxy, much like a Jaina cross with an eye at the center. I took notice that the serene Indian dudes danced more joyously as if they were aware and pleased with my mental images. The Russians however, seemed to lose their passion for the aberrant vibes. The Big Bald Russian placed the girl back down on the floor and the two walked away from the scene.
“Has anyone lost a pair of keys?” shouted a gracefully thin girl with pink and blonde stripes in her hair. “I just found them on the by the dirt when I was dancing. I know these belong to somebody.” They were the keys that had been previously snatched by some hooded thief. I went to go and tell her what I had witnessed before but out of nowhere, the girl in dreads appeared to greet her as if she had known her but not seen her in a long while.
“Nina! So good to see you” shouted the girl in dreads as she leaped forward with a massive hug.
“Peach, it’s been too long!” she replied as the two hugged and smiled at each other. Ethereal rainbows emanated from the two, filling the voids around and within with exuberance and jollity.
“I just found this pair of keys on the ground. Want to help me find the rightful owner?” Asked Nina.
“Oh my god, how did you find those? I could have sworn I had them on me this whole time!” Replied Peach with astonishment. “Thank you so much! This is so weird, Oh my god!” The two hugged again and jumped up and down to the beats as the music went on. I watched in amazement and felt better about the whole situation. I guess sometimes you just have to trust in optimistic chance and synchronicity.
The sun began to dawn more so now. Birds began to chirp and all clouds parted. Hues of a hot orange and pink cast a spherical gradient into the blue sky above. You could see everyone around much more vivid now. Tree shadows stretched out away from the dawn and cool breezes circled around the arrival of the pleasant warmth. The sounds of the MJ even took a turn to a more mellow and downtempo style. I looked at the last of the clouds and they seemed to form the shape of what appeared to be a Sumerian goddess that I could have possibly browse a glimpse at previously on the net. Mystical jewels and ornaments of paradisiacal essence draped over her garment as she lied there horizontally with an arm bent and palm holding her resting head. What a witty exquisiteness! I’m not sure if everyone was aware of the clouds at the moment or if they would even see what I was seeing or just clouds as they were but, to me, the archetypal forces of the essence of Goddess had manifested right before us all as if to initiate entrance into a divine dimension of jovial experience from here on.
MJ Vamp’s turn was now over and he descended down from the local heavens and landed the sound booth. Clasping his hands together in a sort of grimacing surrender, he formed a gesturing prayer of respect. He bowed down to the people as they clapped and blessed him with good intentions and all his fans dragged him away into the woods where the long-drawn-out shadows lay. The sound booth began to rise spontaneously as if it were piloting it self on its own. Everyone glanced at it in puzzlement and awe. It spiraled around rising higher and higher until it reached a point directly in the center of the grounds we were in. Amidst the moment of silence, you could hear the chit chatters of everyone as they pointed and looked above to the booth, levitating in stillness. Two decorative arches unleashed from the base of the booth and connected at the top, creating the aesthetic design on a Tibetan Buddhist temple roof. Lotus petals then branched out from the base and begin to spin slowly as the radiant LED lights exuded in magnificence. Fire works of multiple colors began to explode from the outskirts of the forest and into the skies as a fat, smiling elder, popped his head from within the bottom of the booth to break the silence with a trippy but very Zen like commencing gong sound.
It was the headliner MJ most of us had all been waiting for. It was Audio Buddha, himself and somehow he had snuck himself into the booth without anyone seeing him. Everyone began to clap and cheer loudly as his smile and appearance radiated ever so brightly. As the booth began to spin and float around and away from the previous spot, his psychotropic sounds began to build up. The good vibes were contagious and they had spread to most of the dancers now. I could only envision what it looked like from the Audio Buddha’s view. Waves of celebratory dancers, jumping up and down to the mystical sounds of his enlightened wonder, rippled across the morning’s glory. A feeling of ultimate joy arose in me as I felt the unified experience peak to the max. It was the most perfect spiritual communion. My hands joined together by my lower abs, spontaneously, as I surrendered to the awesome vibe. Powerful lights began to emit from my very hands as they shot streams of gleam into the skies like shooting stars. Many cheered louder as this happened as if they had seen it or felt it.
“Keep doing whatever you just did. That was awesome.” My friend spoke as the loud beats echoed through the forest. The sense of a paradigm shift began to take hold. I felt as if a parallel paradise was emerging and with it came a huge rush. I pushed forth, with more energy and stomped the dirt harder. All of a sudden, flashbacks of my near death experience flooded my perception with vividness. I began to feel the rawness that I felt then and channeled it into the dance grounds. A vast multitude of holographic eyes began to manifest all around and within me as I stomped my feet deeper into the dirt. Nature cast a wind of subtle force, not so aggressively as to disrupt the event but more so as a symbol of presence cast on by nature to resemble its avail of conscious genius. Eyes filled the skies clouds and void alike, symmetrically perfect, in synchronized unison, opening one by one all around. I felt as if my body transformed into static waves and felt my sense of flesh dissolve into the winds. A sense of moving around the forest and flying took place as my mind’s awareness began to approach the sound booth and in just a matter of seconds, I felt as if I shared the same head as Audio Buddha. I could now see, feel and hear the entire celebration through his sensory organs. The visions of the eyes seemed to amplify as all the pupils and irises of the metaphysical eyes began to shine brightly a white brilliant light, which directly with speed and might, cast multiple beams onto the crowds on the ground. Everything turned white.
A tap of excitement broke me away from the intense experience. I turned around and a middle aged man, who could have been Korean or Mongolian was pointing in a distance to what appeared to be a blue skinned, shirtless man with long black hair.
“You see that guy right there?” Asked the Asian dude. “He’s a legendary Yoga master. Some say his skin turned blue, do to yoga forced chemical changes that took place in his Pituitary gland. His hormones are said to regulate differently than everyone’s. Some say he even ages slower.”
I looked in the distance and encountered an increase of focus in my awareness. A connection took place as if a direct and invisible line connected me from my feelings to his. No one else seemed to notice him except for me and the Asian who now winked, smiled and made his way back into the seas of dance.
The blue man approached closer to me. His steps were slow and placid as if though he was walking, he was merely levitating. His movements seemed more real than the usual movements of real life, clear without motion blur as if my eyes saw them not as a sequential, frame by frame linear experience but rather pure movement happening in a single point of present time, or rather, timelessness. He came close to me holding something, glowing in his right hand. He approached my chest with the revealed object he held now so brightly.
“Take this key and carry it with you inside of your heart. When the time comes, you will know what to do with it.” Spoke the blue man as he thrusted the strange elongated crystalloid object into my chest.
“Why me?” I replied as a climax of heroic energy began to vibrate through all of the pores on my skin.
“You are the purest one here.” Replied the blue man in a low tone. The white lights began to diffuse and spread all around like resilient particles of vivacious brightness. Everything burst into the whiteness and once again I experienced nothing but a unified White Vibration. This was truly the center of Alpha and Omega, the unborn and immortal, the source from which everything else in existence is a modification of.
When I regained my waking consciousness, my body had been dancing for me the whole time, as if to enable me to just sit back and enjoy the ride, on the inside, when I had let go completely just before. Everyone around me seemed extremely content and we danced.
Visions of a new blueprint for the species and cultures of the planet began to glimmer their way into visual existence. Never before seen, symbols of a new dawn, animated forth like an artful scripture of motion graphics. These were turbulent and informative, exploding into more and more glyphs of diversity, which appeared to be stimulated by feelings of novelty, optimism and the possibility of a much higher type of existential freedom. This interplay of divine information began to spread through everyone as if to bind itself into the essence of all. Visions of DNA RNA Feedback being intertwined with this new model for the universe glinted before me. I had the awesome feeling that everything would change after that moment. That the possibility of all beings living in symbiotic relationship on this mother spaceship we call Earth would take place at higher rates of complexity, effectiveness, and beneficial intelligence. The once before impossible idea and urge to advantage all without disadvantaging any, embodied itself in my nerves as not just a code of ethic, but very much so as a realistic path of great fulfillment.
I sighed to the cosmos with great exuberance, knowing that we had all changed for the better and never return the same. In a sense, we had become more human than human, more open and connected in behavioral expression, more sensitive to subtle signals and also more capable of enduring anything. We had become even more aware that we were all a hell of a lot more powerful than we would even care to admit and that with such a feat came a grand and joyous sense of responsibility. Through us, the universe had upgraded their model for conscious experience like never before. This moment would be recorded in the genetic strings of history like no other and it would be remembered, omni-locally beyond all the stars of the universe. This spiritual communion had turned into the ultimate spiritual evolution and much like the hundredth monkey phenomenon, our moment’s cosmic treasures were beginning to spread through out all of humanity. And so the future was rewritten once again to be experienced in the present. Life would go on as ever more so divine and all the sentient beings of earthly life regained their vision, knowledge and wisdom of the cosmic way. Unified as the one universe and masked as the many unique expressions of personified conscious creation, we danced forth deified with might, glory, love and divinity.

The grounds for the resurrection of a superior reality had been established, but the bigger day was still yet to come…

Approaching, with large floral sways they bestowed upon me the blissful knowledge of a not so distant Eden. Like superimposed, parallel spirits from another hypnagogic dimension around and within, the alienoid plants delivered another puzzle piece to the phylogenic blueprint with telepathy and rapture. They are proof of a symbiosis previously unseen. These phantoms of joy and wonder fade off, leaving their mark on the mind for eternity.

A Visual/Audio Brain Center stimulator for my newborn daughter, Phaedra Love.

Newborns are only capable of focusing 8 to 10 inches from their face. They also prefer black and white, high contrast images to color graphics. This audio based visualizer is designed help newborn babies develop their vision & hearing brain centers. I made it for my daughter Phaedra Love :)

From 0 - 3 months, a newborn's retina lacks the ability to distinguish details and textures. "When your newborn looks at your hair, she doesn't get a sense of the individual hairs, but just a sort of generalized, uniform color," says Charles Gilbert. For that reason, "infants tend to seek out things with a lot of contrast, which are easier to see and more interesting to them," adds Claire B. Kopp, Ph.D., adjunct professor of psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles, and author of Baby Steps. When a newborn looks at your face, for instance, they ignore your nose and mouth, which are subtly shaded and blend into the rest of your face. Instead, they are more likely to stare at the contrast between the dark of your pupils and the whites of your eyes.

Newborns are not, as was long believed, color-blind. By measuring a baby's brain waves and eye movements, researchers have determined that the typical newborn can even tell the difference between red and green.

I have then created this brain-stimulator in hopes of improving the development of my baby girl, Phaedra's visual and audio brain centers.

Dreams of the Clear White Goddess (Part I)

It had been nearly three hours since the black out. I couldn’t remember what had happened before but I was clearly in the middle of a very strange freshwater swamp forest with no clues as to how I had gotten there. The uncanny ambience of the unfamiliar environment was very alien to me. Odd-looking plants, ranging in hues of red-orange, indigo, fuscia and mostly green, pulsated around me as if breathing in sync with one another. The skies above were very orange and different from any atmosphere I had ever witnessed, almost as if I were awake in a very real yet psychotropic dream. Strange grasses danced and swayed side to side, as a pinkish fog above traveled like a gaseous cloud with a will of its own, turning slowly then twisting and changing direction randomly as if directed by some other force of flow-motion that I could not feel. “How did I get here?” I continuously asked myself “Where could such an unearthly forest manifest itself as peculiar and beautiful as this one?”
I started to move further and further away from the pulsating plants and through a cleared opening that I had spotted near the dancing grasses. Every now and then, feelings of wanting to panic would arise, but I forced them back down, into my gut, and went on to exploring, in hopes of remembering how it all started. The last thing I could remember was driving my car at around 2 in the morning, through the stormy and thundering highways on route 78 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Lightning flashed all around me and rain started to pour heavily from the dark skies. Then suddenly I came into a close encounter with a really large light that came from the skies as if a massive lightning bolt had crashed through the windshield and struck me directly. The bolt was more of a rippling beam than a lightning strike, which felt as though thru its turbulent dynamics, the behavior of the voltage ray violated Newtonian laws of physics. Had I been hit or abducted by a UFO? Did a raging bolt from the storms hit me in the brain, causing psychosis or some sort of mystical experience to occur? Or had I crashed my car and died, waking up in a strange heaven of organic madness and magnificent mystery? The possibilities were wild and many but the truth of my perceptual matter was that I had somehow awakened in this strange world, with no memories of how I had gotten there. I wandered through the clearing to encounter something even more unexpected.
A few yards away, I could see what appeared to be strange elven plant-people or gnomish leprechauns with viney leaves growing out of them and greenish skins parading in a row around the perimeter of a swampy landscape. I jumped back and hid behind an exotic bush, peering out to these little, odd fellows as they carried these majestic and glowing, perfectly symmetrical & geometrical objects. The bright polyhedron objects seemed as if they were made up of raw energy, which radiated with neon incandescence and shifting, rainbow-like hues. They all seemed to be headed towards a large glowing cocoon in the vicinity, which also seemed to breath and pulsate like some of the plants I had previously encountered. The cocoon seemed to measure anywhere from 30 to 35 feet in height and about 28 feet in width, coated with crystalline hexagonal shapes and an opening entrance on its right side. An illuminated radiance strobed from the entrance as some of the plant elves entered with the polyhedrons and others left, empty handed, as if to get more. Amused in disbelief, I held my breath and gazed at this preposterous scene. Had I gone mad? I began to question just how real this all was and was quickly disturbed by a rapid kind of kidnap.
Sticky vines with a hexagon-shaped, textured skin hastily ambushed me by wrapping themselves around all of my limbs and torso, covering me entirely from head to toe. I began to panic but the pressure from the vines wrapped around my chest prevented me from breathing properly. I could feel myself being lifted by the vines with great speed and force as my stomach literally dropped down. And then amidst the moment, hundreds of little fast moving worms slip out from the vine spores and slip into me through every orifice in my body. I can feel them inside me, growing, expanding, transforming me from within, filling my insides with great force and pressure. My forehead fills with a great swelling. I lose consciousness… again.

Dreams of the Clear White Goddess (Part II)

I began to awaken. My eyes were closed and they felt so heavy as if I hadn’t slept in days. I could hear some kind of phased or motorized flanger effect near by as if some sort of angelic generator close by kept running on and on. Limbs wrapped in vines and body hanging in the air I attempt to open my eyes. My vision, blurry at first, shows me the most magnificent environment. I appear surrounded by floating geometric shapes, possibly some of the objects that the miniature plant people were bringing into the cocoon right before I was ambushed by the vines. As a matter of possibility, this might be the inside of a larger cocoon I’m hanging in, with walls designed by the intricate and hexmetrical textures of the alien plant life world all around.
Before I could really get a better look a round at all the mesmerizing detail, a sort of glowing bubble appeared in the center of my vision and began to grow and expand. It appeared in such an eidetic vividness that it even seemed more real than reality itself. This sort of holographic bubble grew larger to about the size of tent, perfectly round in shape and ultra photonic in appearance. All in the matter of a few seconds, the spherical shape floated closer to me, expanding bigger and revealing within itself what appeared to be a really large semi-transparent garden with a feminine presence in the central foreground. It almost reminded me of a massive crystal ball or a spherical television, except inside it existed a universe of its own with a serene lady to greet me at the front.
I stare into the transparent garden’s distance for a split second and glimpse the landscape filled with vegetation, grasses, and bushes that burn with electric blue hues and red oranges. And the female deity in the front, wearing what appeared to be a sort of spring-like sleeveless silky smooth dress, with her back arching towards me and her hand reaching out, moved closer and closer towards my heart. Her movement was so pure that it felt almost too real in comparison to the usual motion of the world I was used to. As her hand moved closer and closer it seemed to move through the sphere and out of the radius, into the space I was in. My first uncontrollable reaction was ecstatic love and rapture. I felt as if she was about to liberate my heart from any turmoil or discomfort. But less than a second later, I began to feel a sense of impending doom and wondered. What if the minute she grabs my heart I meet my own death.
I began to toss and turn violently as she moved closer with her hand, panicking in a fierce tantrum. The vines holding me in mid air grasp me tighter and move in towards my torso for a better grip and hold. Then I hear a very soft voice speak out to me in the most ominous and telepathic style.
“Be calm, young star son, be calm. For your path is about to become a new gem in the grid of eternity. We have been born and died and reborn and re-died and have traveled around and within. It is time for change. The fate of the entire universe lies in your heart. Be brave, oh chose one, be brave…”
The Lady in the bubble thrusts her hand through my chest and into my heart, grabbing it in a flash of a blink. Immediately, I enter an electrifying and shocking peak of experience where powerful visions, thoughts, sensations, and feelings of archetypal detail enter my brain. Strobing with haste, my sight takes on a form of vision of its own accord. I undergo a journey though myriad like labyrinths of various energies arching into an enormous super highway of hyperspace symbols and hieroglyphs never seen before, followed by roller coaster type of riding, incredibly fast through grid formation tunnels that twist and turn and spin and lead me further through the cosmic rabbit hole into a whole new array of archaic elements that seem to contrast or contradict one another through angelic and demonic means which no sooner than later get infiltrated by hundreds of staring eyes and then FLASH! All the colors of my visions fuse together into a blazing “White Light” like no other, disintegrating my every sensation of being into mere static. I feel as though my flesh evaporates into white noise or tiny particles, which then travel as waves in the sensational vortex right before disappearing completely. I become the White Light! I… I am Universe and beyond. I am that I am!

Dreams of the Clear White Goddess (Part III)

It all made sense to me now. I felt unified and enlightened. I had stepped out of myself into my “supra-self” and in a sort of rapture I came to understand exactly why and how I had gotten here. As I awakened from the White Void and back into the large cocoon, the vines release me limb by limb and I begin to fall down, away from the visions of the floating Lady. My body drops down. As I fall deeper and deeper into an almost bottomless pit, an elite, prana-synthetic hybrid armor begins to fly from the increasing darkness all around and come crash into my flesh, attaching it self as many parts, piece by piece, meshing with my flesh and nerves like super-alien coating shells. I begin to look like a “mega” humanoid supreme being. Organic armor of symmetrical design and dynamic efficiency covers every inch of my flesh, enhancing all of my senses, body parts, and abilities. The fall finally comes to an end as I land and kneel on a cavernous and moist pavement at the base of the gargantuan cocoon. I look ahead of me and a new path is accessible as a crystalline tunnel filled with tiny shimmering orbs of multiple hues. Intuitively and instinctively I dash forward in a super sprint of light speed, leaving a permanent trail of floating light behind me. The orbs all around on the horizontally, cylindrical, inner walls of the tunnel transform into beams do to the velocity of the velocity of my motion. The tunnel path then turns and swirls, it curves and whirls, it spirals and drops down until I reach an opening that leads me back into the strange freshwater swamp forest I had originally awakened in. I dash forward through the environments ahead until reaching a dead end cliff.
I peer over the cliff and stumble upon a wasteland of death. The green leaves had were gone in just a matter of minutes, and this deserted land confronted me with the will of death, the outrage and urge to rest, to close down all the dimensional gate ways of living experience and return to the void of nothingness. I knew my goals. And beyond my goals I had the hunger for life, more now so then ever. I wanted this. I wanted to progress and expand in a rush of joy and motion on and on, forward through the illusions of time, creating them like an artist paints on a canvas and slowly builds up a painting. Except my painting is infinite and my brush is consciousness.
I looked over the desert’s hellscape and as it darkened and morphed into a pit of black insectoid demons, I centered my self and awareness. The demonic extensions of “Thanatos” began to surround me, calling out in telepathic whispers, “we want to rest, bring the eternal sleep back to the worlds!”
As the haunting went on and they charged to annihilate my inner core, my points of focus increased in sharpness and clarity. I began to move through space and time with the waves of defense, slicing demon after demon with my Prana-beam slicer blades, which my arms had extended into. Thousands of these critters charge at me like a swarm as I chop and trim devil parts all around. I wanted to put these creatures out of their misery. Give them the rest they need by destroying them entirely and bring them to their “Void”.
They began to close in one me closer, landing on my armor and covering me entirely. The black swarm fills my local space entirely. I feel all their needs, wills, and goals. Immune to their pains, I witness their catharsis. I give them a chance to express their final demonstration as a violet light begins to glow in the center of my forehead. My violet light begins to grow larger in scale as wave-like sphere and my armor begins to harden. The demons swirl around harder and stronger like a violent storm, forging their last strength of rebellion. I feel the force in my head explode like a super-dimension ejaculation of the forces and begin to blast a White Noise beam right through the black swarm of Death. The demons disintegrate out of existence. They become liberated from their death-seeking Ego Cages and experience fulfilling their true souls with a Return to Nothingness.
The blackness fades away. The armor fades away. The world I was previously in melt away entirely and I awake on the highway below the raining and thundering night skies of route 78. Soaked entirely from head to toe, I feel my sense of higher purpose. I return to my earthly world of illusions with a sense of ambition higher than ever. I locked the gate and broke the key to the apocalypse. Reborn as a guardian of “Life”, I leave my demolish car that I had previously crashed, and walk the highways with universal confidence. Though my fleshy head seemed to be bleeding a bit, I knew inside that I was fine. That I had become better than I had ever been before. I walked through the rain, imaging in my mind the visions of “Utopian Reconstruction”. It was time to turn the world into a Life-Loving paradise. It was time to rip open these skies and let heaven pour out into this planet. I walked on, determined, and the rain started to fade.

I created this visual arts installation for Digable Arts Festival as a means to reflect upon those certain states of being that exist in the unseen realms of one's reality and inner being. "The Beyond Within" was a sort of device & portal. A secret space was created and easily accessable, behind the layered projection screens, for the purpose of consciousness expansion and exploration. During the 2 days art festival I often sneaked back there and privately witnessed the "otherside" of the visuals and heard voices of bypassers and their comments on the installation.

(First time I read this was in 2004, & my friend Filip just asked me about it so I read it again and remembered just how good it was again. I figured I would post it here since it is a good read...)

Saint Francis Visits Satan by Rodolfo Scarfalloto

It was well past midnight. The young friar walked through the wooded valley, deep in the forest of Umbria. He was absorbed in prayer, greatly troubled by the perpetual conflict he had seen among humanity in his travels. He was fervently asking for understanding when he became aware that he was very thirsty. Looking around the darkend woodland, he noticed the flowing waters of a nearby spring, glistening in the moon light. He kneeled down by the spring and took a drink, thanking sister water for quenching his thirst. He had been walking for hours, and had fasted nearly forty days. He was exausted. Next to the spring, he noticed a small mound of dry leaves that had been heaped up by the wind.

After reciting his final prayer of the night, he lay down on the leaves and drifted off into a deep and restfull sleep.

In the early morning hours, just before awakening, he dreamed that he was walking through the deepest recesses of the underworld, where he was searching, until he found the one whom all of his fellow friars were trying to avoid.
The young frair fearlessly approached him. "Greetings, Brother. I have come here to ask you to return home with me."
Satan laughed, and with uncharacteristic gentleness, escorted the young frair to hell's gate.

"Be gone my brother. You are able to stay in my presence for a short while and not be burned because you are harmless, but you must leave before your profound grace expires."

"First I would ask you why you continue to stay in this place. I am disturbed by your exile."

"As long as there is one among our kin who does not remember what you remember, I must remain; and from here, I guard the gate to our Father;s house against all those who might sneak in before full rememberance is reached."

"But you do not have to stay here. If you walk with me to the gate of rememberance, others will surely follow."

"You do your work your way. And I will my work my way."

The young frair sighed. "Though I am saddened by the division between us, I cannot force you to walk with me."

Satan laughed. "And neither would you, even if you could. You would not force your will apon a butterfly. That is why i cannot harm you."

"Are your words intended to seduce me?"

"I am, indeed, the master of seduction, " he laughed again. "But i cannot seduce in absence of vanity. Any attempt to seduce you would be a silly waste of energy. I have no choice but to tell you the truth."

"So tell me again, for I am slow of learing; why must you stay in this place?"

"To guide brethern, in my own way, as i have said.

"I do not understand. How can condemnation and violence help them?"

"By making things intolerable for them. I expose the weakness that they would greatly conceal. Those who do not listen to you, must learn through me."

"Do you not know that people fear and hate you?"

"Of course. If they did not fear and hate me, they would quickly see their own weakness, and they would have no further need of my services; which is just as well because in the asbsence of fear and hate, I would no longer have any power to continue my work. This is perfection, my brother. Those who need my services also provide me with the energy needed to fuel my efforts."

"You really belive that you can serve them by leading the astray?"

"Satan laughed again. "It is not I who lead them. They lead me. It is the law."

"You have great wisdom, my brother. You understand the subtleties of creation in ways I do not. Yet, there is a stubborn place within me which insists that you can use your wisdom in a more productive manner which would bring great happiness and fufillment to you and all those who are influenced by you. Perhaps I am naive. Perhaps my stubbon perception is just wishfull thinking, born of my desire to see you end your exile. You are, after all, the beloved prodigal son, and my brother. It would be my greatest joy to share in the celebration of your return, for you are the first born of our blessed Mother and Father."

"In your simplicity, you are most persuasive, little brother. Your words are genuine and free of subterfuge. Nonetheless, i have my vigil. Here I am bound to stay."

"But we are both free to come and go, and have been from the begining of time when out Father touched the womb of Mother Darkness to bring us into being. Walk with me, and let us drink deeply of the love they have for each other and for us, their children."

There was a brief flicker of sadness in Satan's eyes, and than his face hardened again, and he laughed. "Go little brother, before your profound grace expires, for I am still capable of finding weakness within you."

"I feel your pain, my brother, for it is my pain. We will meet again and rejoice."

As Francis walked away, Satan watched him, and briefly considered the possiblity of speeding things up a bit.

The young frair was awakend from his dream by a lark standing on the ground close by. With his eyes still closed, he spontaneously recited his morning greeting to God and all creation. He vaguely remembered the dream, not knowing what to make of it. Opening his eyes, he gazed upon the clear water flowing from the nearby spring. The first rays of sunlight filtered through the trees, warming his face. The wind, which has been blowing a while ago, had settled down. The trees, rocks, the ground he was laying on, and the mist which played in the morning sun, seemed to be speaking to him in unison. He was simultanously filled with great joy and great sadness, as he felt himself being moved by a visceral awareness which he didnt quite comprehend.

Interscope requested that we come up with an iconic character that the band can use a’la Iron Maiden’s Eddie. After slamming our hand in a car door for a couple weeks we fleshed out the character and thus, the Bastard was born and his battle with the Bots has begun.
